The cruise ships usually ply the North Pacific/Gulf of Alaska. From Vancouver/Seattle to Anchorage.

Nome is on the Bering Sea. If cruise ships go in there, they are very seasonal.

Pictured above are cruise ship destinations...I guess they do go to Nome...whodathunkit.
