“One more reason why I didn’t “cast a vote for Palin” like everyone wanted me to.”

Same here. A vote for Palin would have been nothing more than a vote for McCain. She wasn’t going to be the chief..he was. I’ve always said I wouldn’t vote for him and I just could NOT go back on my word. He’s never been a real republican and I knew he wasn’t about to start now. Sometimes you just gotta go with your gut.

I think we all weighed voting for him. You and I couldn’t. One of the main reasons I couldn’t, is because I did not want to have to explain to leftists how a Conservative could do the things he would do.

I can easily explain why Obama would do what he is going to, but I don’t have to sell Liberalism. I am tasked selling Conservatism.

It would be literally impossible to sell Conservatism with McCain being the top Conservative in the nation. And the media would have driven that title home constantly.

Whoever runs against him, we vote for him. Doesn’t matter.

If we’re going to get screwed, we might as well have fun doing it.

“Siamese stooges”

That’s extremely well put! Permit me to apologize for putting Little Lord Lindsey where he now is. I voted for him in 2002 and regret it ever since.

Rush is right, again: McCain wants his legacy as deal-maker and aisle-crosser to erase his image as presidential loser.

They’re sickening, the two of them. And Flimsey Tinkerbelle is an embarassment to us in the once proud Palmetto State.

I did not nominate McCain - but I did vote for him as no alternative.

What did you do?

It will be interesting to see how many here will blame this on Pres. Bush and complain about him for 8 years rather than complain about any democrat. We let the democrats off scott free for 8 years while we destroyed Bush and his reputation.

I can understand why we have absolutely no leadership in the GOP.
