Okay ladies, here's an idea. Would anyone consider starting a First Lady Fashion Tragedies ping list? That's the only thing I've heard so far that makes me feel like I might get through 4 years of this. If anyone starts it, please add me to the ping list.
It reminded me of bad wedding dress
Must be his white side that lacks rhythm.
I have been thinking about her. She is very tall and walks with her shoulders hunched. She does need someone to work on her posture.
She picked dresses that were frou frou,,especially the ball gown and the one strap looked like it was added.
She would look better in simpler fabrics with some body, simple lines. I can’t wear a strapless dress,,my age and I feel like it is falling down. She can’t either. She has good arms but she should not try to wear a strapless dress if she can’t bring it off.
She needs time to get her act together,,and good advice.
She does look good in white/black dresses and I bet jewel tones would be fabulous on her. I liked the yellow this morning by the way. But again,,layers don’t suit her.
She looks like a gooey S’More without the graham cracker.
I agree with you and another poster A few people are giving constructive criticism but more are just being mean spirited because they are dispirited I think some people are truly in shock and don’t know how to process these two being the First Family. She definitely needs a new stylist some women just don’t have the knack for it. Sarah Palin does if you look at how she dressed before coming on the national stage it was the same Classy, Smart, and Feminine. I just don’t think Michelle has that kind of fashion sense and that she’s hooked up with the wrong type of people for fashion advise
It reminded me of the gauze wrapped around the MUMMY (anyone got a pic from that movie? LOL)
Poor Hillary,,that was a disaster. And why the blue hat?
She needed those O-bots to tell her the truth. A classic look like Jackie Kennedy wore is always safe.
I liked her dress and coat as well.
A unique color, but a nice color.
I think so too. Michelle does well with clean, straight lines in clothing and deep, rich colors. The style of her teal dress at the Dem convention was good and she's worn some flattering colors throughout the campaign. The camel and black outfit the other day was very nice.
What happened today is inexplicable. She is listening to the wrong people.
She is not a ruffles and femininity type person.
The blue hat was picked up with her blue stockings. :-)
I don’t think most of us here are doing it maliciously. The truth hurts sometimes and she, and others, better get used to the criticism. I was waiting for a classic, OOHH, dress, a Jackie O classic. It is the extreme opposite. I have one just like it on the upstairs bed.
Charmin on The Potomac.
I agree...
Add me to that list if you would be so kind. I didn’t think I’d get through today without it! :)
I don't get it. I look at her and I don't see attractive at all. Mostly I see mean.
Even today, watching the parade, there it was...that mean look. If she doesn't smile her mouth turns down and she looke like she could bite your head off! ((((shudder)))))
While I may agree with your sentiments, may I suggest that you save your impertinence for your block captain and/or political officer's questioning. That's where you'll really need it in the new Obamanation.
Absolutely not. They are already writing glowing reviews of Michelle's wardrobe today which as most of us know (we can clearly see for ourselves we aren't that stupid) is a flat out lie!
OMG that made my day!
