The WORST ensemble ever worn on Pennsylvania Ave. And whoever told her to wear a gaudy diamond choker with a glittering dress in the daytime? I thought there were fashion advisers who were working with her on her outfit. Obviously, not.

I was surprised at the color, the fabric and the bling for daytime. There are colors that flatter black women and that is not one of them. Red, black, chartreuse, bright yellow, garnet, royal blue, hot pink are all colors that flatter black women. They are also colors that photograph and video well.

Simple, solid color fabrics in matte or satin photograph the best and are the most slimming to their wearers. Prints or heavily textured or blingy fabrics do not photograph or video well and make wearers look heavy. They might be lovely in person, but not on film.

Also surprised at the evening gown. It looks very juvenile - like something a girl would wear to an 8th grade dance.

Isn’t that choker thing sewed on to the dress?
