As I expected, they switched the White House web site right at noon. Don’t go there if you don’t want to be upset. The one is right in your face.
Or use a text-based browser instead of a graphical one. I use 'lynx' for most everything, and rather enjoy being able to download and view ONLY those pictures that I want.
'lynx' doesn't work well for Amazon, eBay, newegg, and similar sites, but for whitehouse.gov (I almost typed "twithouse.gov"), 'lynx' works great.
