Tom Brokaw is CRYING on Morning Joe.................
After catching a bit of Larry King’s soliloquy last night nothing will surprise me.
Is that not the most puke-inducing thing you've ever seen?
The adoration of the American masses for a two-bit crook is just too much for me to watch.
Is he crying because a man of great ideas is about to become President?
Or is he crying because of skin pigmentation?
So am I. Not on Morning Joe though.

You know this liberal guilt thing is too much. Now if it was a black person, I can understand it. I understand it’s an emotional issue for them and I support them in that.
I sadly don’t feel the same for other people’s content of character. Especially one who palled around with so many anti-Americans. I can’t get over that. At best I can only hope that he did it for the cynical gain of power.
But that’s the best light I can put on it. That and that almost every political instinct the man reveals is contrary to mine.
I love that my country can show such promise to anyone. I hate the vehicle of the actual person who I sadly distrust. Please, prove me wrong.
But the rumor about the US taxpayer paying for abortions is not warming my heart. How is that uniting us?

I was crying when I heard Pastor Rick Warren read the Lord's Prayer...
...crying with gratitude that we could still hear an unabashedly Christian -and Jewish- prayer read out loud at a public event.
OTOH I was disappointed to NOT hear the crowd join in the recitation of the prayer. (Am listening on radio so am not sure - but the crowd seemed very quiet at that point.)
If I'm right, why is this? Do people not know the Lord's Prayer anymore? Or do they think it's too politically incorrect to recite it?
