it is really hard to rehab a bird. If it is sitting it probably doesn't have a broken back but maybe wing.
Keep it in a quiet safe place and hope for the best until comes out of shock. You can check in phone book for wildlife rehab person who may take it....these gentle volunteers do wonderful compassionate things

That’s probably a good idea...to call some wildlife agency if it doesn’t get better today.
I think I am just going to let it rest for awhile for the time being. It’s warm and protected in the greenhouse. I just put some thistle seed out for it and there is water available.
