Let's be a little more clear, here. He didn't "fail out of school". He flunked out of Divinity School. It's not like he flunked out of Harvard Law School.
Still ain’t that bad. Gore flunked out of Divinity School. Martin King got caught, posthumously, cheating his way thru Divinity School.
Lately I’ve been thinking that the best way to destroy an ideological movement is from the inside.
Maybe there's good in having all of the Clintonistas in the Obama administration.
It shouldn't require that much of a stretch to prove that evil capitalists, especially those in the United States, are causing global cooling.
I actually like Al Gore a bit more, now that I know he flunked out of divinity school.
Are you suggesting it’s ok to fail out of school? That it’s no big deal to receive an F in five of eight classes enrolled?
The title is misleading. The article furnishes no evidence that the no. of believers is on the decline. Indeed, it seems to me that they’ve all moved to Minnesota.
William Sidis called it in the 1930’s — and tied revolution to periodic sunspot activity. Revolution is more likely in the north when the sun cools and crops die; revolution in the south is more likely when the sun warms and crops die.
he flunked out of divinity school because he wanted to start his own religion

Unfortunately their ultimate goals are the same except for who'll be leading us into the destruction of our country. OTOH if their internal power struggles slow down the passage of "the program", that would at least give us a chance for a turnaround.
Yet the libs went on and on and on in 2000 about how much smarter Gore was than W.
That’s a great picture.
“Goremons” <-— (Ha ha ha, ha ha ha!)
:-P

Like many editorial cartoons, this piece presumes you’re aware of the underlying news story, which it certainly could’ve at least mentionned: recent polls have shown a collapse in the number of people who believe in man-made global warming.
Absolutely is was a big deal and it was absolutely NOT ok. Big Al consequently lost his student draft deferment and then become eligible to be drafted. Of course, daddy made it all ok as Big Al wound up in the army in some sort of staff function, don't recall just what and am not going to bother googling it, not worth the trouble.

The principal effect being cloudiness vs drought, but the secondary effect is the one being discussed so much lately: global warming. (Obviously, if there are more clouds, it gets cooler.)
Hey Gore, science is for the big guys.
Stick to politics, where no intelligence is needed.
