Maryline Blackburn, woman who beat Sarah Palin for Miss Alaska title, to perform at inaugural balls

Sarah Palin is NOT going to be thrilled with this.

The woman who edged out the former veep candidate for the title of Miss Alaska 1984 is slotted to perform at not one, but two inaugural balls in Washington, D.C.

Maryline Blackburn, who eventually traded in her tiara for a career as a professional singer, plans to celebrate Barack Obama's ascension to the presidency with gigs at swanky bashes hosted by star musicians Ludacris and Dionne Warwick.

My guess is the evil Sarah haters dug up her up just to piss Sarah off. I doubt that Sarah really gives a blank. She’s too busy being a GOVERNOR OF ALASKA.

Meet Maryline Blackburn…an INTERNATIONAL CITIZEN. One of those artists who comes along once in a Blue Alaskan Moon and simply personifies the word "Entertainer."

Born in Europe, Maryline spent her formative years in Fairbanks , Alaska . In the mid-1980's, she won the Miss Alaska Pageant and then went on to represent Alaska in the Miss America Scholarship Pageant where she was a talent finalist.

Well, today I was stuck behind a Toyota Echo that appeared to be held together by a bunch of liberal bumper stickers (meat is murder, impeach bush, etc...). It was being driven by an older man, and the wife was riding shotgun. I'm guessing late 50s to early 60s in age.

So, my answer would be "No."
