I don’t think you were understanding what I was saying. I don’t want him to implement a bunch of social programs, or to increase spending and raise taxes.
I do want our nation to stay safe, and I do want the economy to turn around. If we have another terrorist attack, or people continue to lose jobs and their retirement and their medical insurance that will cause extensive suffering. I could not in good conscience wish suffering on people, just to prove a political point.

nor do I, but the philosophy he has articulated prior to the present time, if implemented would cause far more damage than good and lead the nation into a path of degradation. Just because he and his advisors say something is good doesn't make it good. I don’t mean to sound political, but rather one who is an adherent of the country our ancestors have handed down to us. In short, I do not have a lot of trust in Obama. And that lack of trust stems from his past, his campaign, his associates, and some of his current advisors. I want success - for the nation, not a personality.
