Nixon was way to loyal to his underlings and allowed scandals to blow out of proportion(sound familiar) Nixon got paranoid and overestimated the effect of the left on the political landscape evidenced by the fact that Reagan won a conservative landslide after a Nixon sponsored Ford handoff and the 4 yr Carter administration. Delroy shouldn’t have called Bush the republican party’s Carter. He should have called Bush the republican party’s Nixon.
