One last weekend at Camp David..all bitter sweet.. I suppose they are having their personal things loaded on moving vans today and over the weekend. I feel like this is a funeral. I’ll miss Dana’s press meetings with that annoying bunch..she can handle em for sure. Condi and the rest of the troop too all for different reasons.
I hate to see the carpetbaggers moving into 1600...makes me ill. I hope there will be photos of President Bush and Laura as they return to Midland..I have no interest in seeing what the black widow will wear to the balls..none of it.. Historic maybe ..too bad it isn’t a person of color who has merit.

Tonight I had to go into DC, to which I will not return at least until after Tuesday. It was very emotional for me, looking at the Capitol and the WH, wondering just what they will stand for in four years.

President Bush has served well and faithfully. He followed his oath, and not the polls. God Bless him and Mrs. Bush as they return to their beloved TX. And God bless America. Please.

Yeah, it was mentioned at one of the press briefings that Mrs. Bush and her staff packed up a lot of personal things this week and had them sent ahead to Texas.

And then there's the historic/official items and documents they have collected over the past 8 years that will one day be in the President's library and museum.

Pallets loaded with boxes of documents from President George W. Bush's years in the White House are unloaded by military personnel after arriving at Carswell Field at the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base in Fort Worth, Texas, January 15, 2009. Thousands of boxes are being sent to Texas for storage before the Bush Library is completed. Picture taken January 15, 2009.

Note the date on the box on the left.
