May all his not blessed of GOD agendas and plans and changes etc... never sprout roots nor implementation! Double-Amen!
To: HollyB
I so appreciate you saying that :) It’s been my pleasure.

He’s one of my favorites. I’m a fan of NC Wyeth too.
To: DrDeb; LUV W
Thanks, Deb :)
I'm glad you'll be able to go to Midland. You and LUV take as many photos as you can!

He was good and honest and decent and I for one will miss him.Same here. People take those qualities for granted (including many on the Right).

I have got the impression over time that Condi and Tzipi Livni have developed a good relationship So do I.
It's probably no coincidence that Condi's last guest at the State Dept. is the Israeli foreign minister, and that her last act as Sec. of State was to sign a memorandum designed to help protect Israel from the Hamas thugs in Gaza.

May God bless you and your wonderful family. May you live in peace and some day in heaven we shall meet. Beautifully said.

Cant find the right words, but Thanks. Your thanks says more than enough. You're very welcome, Tom.
I hope you're doing well.
To: Bush 100 Percent
Thank you very much for saying that. It means more than I can say.

I get the distinct impression that he is choosing his words carefully when speaking about Obama; telling the public it will be all right, but he doesn't really mean it. I agree, it does seem like he's choosing his words. But the feeling I get is that he's telling us that whatever zero does or doesn't do in the next two to four years, America is strong enough to surivive it.

ROFL!!!!! I wasn't expecting to see Sam and that makes it even funnier :-D Thank you, Chef!

I still have the Dose tonight--I'll probably just tack an update to this thread. And then that will be it for me :o

In that last photo in Post #10, the President looks more relaxed than he has in years! I guess hes ready to get outta DC, and back home to Texas. Freedom! :)

It was 9 degrees here last night and the high temperature today is going to be 20 something :(
I ran out of breakfast-like food a few days ago. I just had Trader Joe's french onion soup for breakfast. LOL
LOL!
Could I interest you in some Michellina's Meatloaf? Or a can of Chunky's Roadhouse Chili? Maybe a stray bag of microwave popcorn?
Yeah, my cupboard's getting pretty bare too :)

Okay, I thought I was done posting for today, but I was in the shower and on the radio there was an ad for some local Chicago dem AND one of the labor unions is having an inugeration party at a club Tuesday morning. No doubt the union members will be paid for attending.
I was too enraged to hear who the dem or union was, but I did hear it's at the Excalibur. I thought that was sort of funny, because the Excalibur is right in the middle of touristville by the Rock 'n Roll McDonald's and Hard Rock Cafe. Locals avoid that area, if at all possible.

Me too...I'll miss the Bush family. While so many of us did not agree with all his policies, we recognize the man for a man of faith and a man who did what he did because he thought it would be best for the country and not for any personal gain.
Today on the phone, my middle girl said she is calling the youngest to arrange a time to get together to watch the swearing in and the departure of “ that evil man”. That set me off. Her dad was making the throat cutting gesture to tell me to shut up but I said no I am going to say my piece...and that was that that evil man has kept this country safe from attacks for the last 7.5 years! I told her that many conservatives were not happy with some of the spending issues and said so out loud. I also told her I hope 0bama fails in all his efforts to bring socialism to our shores. Then when she went on about how bad things are in their area..people out of work...etc and this crisis due to Bush I asked her if she knows what the cause was..I could hear the blank stare...the housing markets..she said her husband said this...to which I told her..that 17 times the Bush administration brought this to the attention of congress who did nothing and the people at fault,,Franks, Dodd, Meeks, Waters and a host of others brushed it aside..and here we are today and it has affected all parts of American life and business now. The trouble with both girls is that they watch 0prah and Ellen....they read and think not past that and the younger is married to a democrat...she never had a political thought in her head until she married him..and he is a great guy but his family is steeped in the democrat party. So we have two brainwashed girls..only one of them has a husband who gets it.

Dana is a class act and with the exception of Scott McC. Bush has been surrounded by classy people. They show respect for the office of the President.
