In the approximately 80 rallies in which she participated, total crowd attendance was between 700 and 800,000, not bad for a vilified VP candidate, I’d say. In 2012 she would easily get the 47 percent that McCain got, plus she’d bring in the approximately 2 percent, made up of Republicans, who stayed home. All she would need is to pick up about 3 or 4 percent of those who drifted over to 0bama because of anger over the economy, and she’d be home free. 0bama realizes this, and that is why his camp continues to try to tear her down, but it doesn’t appear to be working as well as they planned. Since the election she’s been named Conservative of the Year, voted the 2nd most admired woman in the country, and several other things as well. I’m looking for her to really make people sit up and take notice at CPAC, and Ziegler’s documentary comes out at the same time. Both those events will generate tremendous amounts of coverage, much of it Palin bashing by the usual suspects, but that is to be expected. The average person doesn’t hear as much of it as we do, since we are out looking for it most of the time.

Also voted the person you’d most want as your next door neighbor.
