I think this columnist's point is that Obama made specific promises to the lefties — for example, that he would close Guantanamo Bay immediately — that he is reneging on before he even is in office.

And having the conservative clergy perform the invocation at his inaugeration didn’t help with the pinkos either. Heck the fact he is having an invocation riles the lefties.
