I actually agree with that. He made it very clear a year or so ago that he was not going to govern by ideology, but from the center.

He said it... so you believe it?

There is nothing "very clear" about this guy.

Problem is that he will pass too many folks' definition of "centrist" because the political establishment has drifted so far to the left already.

Whether I believe it or not is not the issue. He actually deatiled it in his second book. And so far he is doing exactly what he said he would. If that all comes to fruition, we shall see, but it is not a surprise to me so far.
