I think PU's point was that there are more than likely several Wall Street MBA's now looking for work that jokingly or not might be included in the initial enlistment numbers.

I sincerely doubt the posters intent was to insult those serving without MBA's, since that would be nearly everybody in uniform, and certainly pretty much everybody in the combat branches.

Thought about that possibility after it was posted and a follow up cigarette and a cup of coffee; however, there was no other context with it (first reply). And, I've been hit for leaving off a sarcasm tag a time or two myself; I took it at face value.

While I admit, some join the military for the money and lack of employment opportunities (nor am I saying that just because a person is in the military is beyond criticism), servicemembers are constantly being labeled as undereducated slackers with nothing else going for them and couldn't get "real jobs."

ie Senator Harkin (McCain never had a real job); Sen Metzenbaum (John Glenn never had a real job) etc etc.
