I am from Massachusetts, and I can tell you...it is the political machine, and it targets starry eyed old women who still fantasize over JFK, kool-aid drinking lefties of all ages, and liberals who are interested only in power.

All probably true, but I also hear his staff is absolutely top-notch at constituent services: need help with the VA, tangled mix-up with Social Security, need a ride to medical appointments? From what I hear, his staff always comes through.

I would expect that from any legislator I vote for.

The majority of votes cast for him probably come from people who have never called his office.
