It might. How politically correct?

The evolutionary history of diatoms -- abundant oceanic plankton that remove billions of tons of carbon dioxide from the air each year -- needs to be rewritten, according to a new Cornell study. That would be unfortunate. I read the first book and it took me eons to finish.

If libs say global warming. Plan on global cooling.

But the real question (as it usually is in these studies) is which way was the causation?

A good rule of thumb in biology is, if you want truly “heavy hauling” done, the easiest way is with microorganisms.
A great illustration of this is a plankton bloom at sea, which can raise the surface temperature of the water by two or three degrees over a wide area. This can increase the strength of a hurricane by a factor.

When it cooled the carbon dioxide was sucked up by the oceans deep water and the bacteria died off. Of course there was a corelation. Just not the one they’d like us to believe.
