Newly elected Pennsylvania Governor Edward G. Rendell has named Los Angeles-based Advisor David Rubin to the Governor's Transition Team. Rubin begins his service in January 2003, serving on the Department of Revenue Transition Team.

As Governor-Elect in 2002 and taking office in 2003, Rendell created a Transition Team to help facilitate the smooth implementation of his administration's policies and goals.

This is really getting to be depressing. I was so hopeful that with supporting Obama, helping him get elected to president, our nation would indeed move away from the “politics of corruption”. Sadly, it appears that I was terribly wrong. Since the November election, it almost seems that there has been a daily steam of news to strongly suggest that Obama is going to be nothing more than Bush’s third term. I have been duped.

A developer in New York state donated $100,000 to former President Bill Clinton’s foundation in November 2004, around the same time that Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton helped secure millions of dollars in federal assistance for the businessman’s mall project.
Hillary Clinton helped enact legislation allowing the developer, Robert Congel, to use tax-exempt bonds to help finance the construction of the Destiny USA entertainment and shopping complex, an expansion of the Carousel Center in Syracuse.

That’s not all either. Nine months later she helped set aside five million for the roadway construction to the new center.
She also helped secure a provision in a highway bill that set aside $5 million for Destiny USA roadway construction.
The bill with the tax-free bonds provision became law in October 2004, weeks before the donation, and the highway bill with the set-aside became law in August 2005, about nine months after the donation.
