HAHAHAHHA!!!!! This is hilarious! Well, it serves him right! He was appointed by a corrupt governor who tried to sell the seat in the first place.

I don't think it's hilarious at all. He was legitimately appointed by a sitting governor, the only person in this nation who has the right to determine who will hold this seat right now, period. Blago has been convicted of NOTHING. Heck, Blago hasn't even been INDICTED, has he?

This affair illustrates just how out of control the Democrats in Washington are, and you should find it very troubling.

I just think that a Governor who has a history of corruption and who did try to sell the Senate seat, and has less than 4% approval rating...how are we conservatives supposed to side with him?

I do think the Democrats are absolutely insane. I really do.

I think the right of the people of Illinois has been violated: they should decide the senator. No corrupt governor should be allowed to do this.

The ‘Rats are just afraid of the chance that a Republican might be elected. That’s what it is.

Have to agree. Whatever corrupt activities Blagojevich has been accused of, this appointment appears to be wholly legal. The Illinois Secretary of State has no discretionary power to withhold his certification of this appointment.

White’s illegal veto has been cited by Senator Reid and it will mean a time consuming amount of litigation, but based upon precedents I expect Burris to eventually assume the vacant position.

Another bad media day for Obama courtesy of his old buddy Blagojevich.
