Agree. Why should several muslim cab drivers, who as this article suggests, know about an attack, blow the whistle to a few Jews who tipped them off? Doesn't make sense to me.

I suspect a couple of malicious cab drivers are spreading rumors for either

a)the heck of it

or b) creating panic to inflict harm

They are endangering any "actual plan" if there were one... not a hallmark of real jihadis.
