We own a ‘95 Ford Taurus (145K miles-runs great), a ‘98 Explorer (204K miles-runs great), and bought an ‘08 Fusion this past April...am hoping to trade it in on another new one within the next month or so...great car. As for the other two, they don’t look bad at all for their age and still running well (with a few minor quirks (cruise control went out on the Taurus a few years back and as much as the dealership tried to fix it, they couldn’t isolate the problem...so other than no cruise control, it’s in great shape). We have always taken care of our cars with regular maintenance, oil changes, etc. It pays in the long run.

I got a new Toyota truck this summer. My 1999 Ford F-250 was getting problematic after about 125000 miles. Looked at them all and wanted to make sure I got a one made in America.
