Good grief. Talk about revisionism!
What happened to the CSMonitor? I thought it was a “center-right” paper.
Anyway, I understand it will soon stop printing and go completely online sometime this year.

The CSM used to be a highly respected crown jewel of the journalistic enterprise. But that was far away and long ago.

The CS Monitor changed about a decade ago.

Don't forget his "certification" of blatantly rigged elections in Venezuela that brought us the unending gift of Huuuugo Chavez.
As for the Monitor, it is indeed going online-only. (Electrons disappear down the oubliette so much more tidily than paper, don'tcha know.) And center-right fell victim to the Boston miasma around the turn of this century, which is when I finally cancelled the subscription my parents had given me for my 12th birthday.
