Loving ones family and standing with them is neither liberal nor conservative. As a single Dad of two daughters, grown now, I am fortunate that neither was pregnant prior to marriage. Others are not so fortunate.
Would you have us ostracize our children, whip them with a cat-o-nine-tails for a mistake? Or, follow B Homey and have them abort a child so they wouldn’t be “punished” for falling into the peer pressured indoctrination of Public School?
You want people like me to "SHUT UP" because you do NOT like TRUTH that I speak. Well, get used to it and WAKE UP! Remove yourself from the Palin cult. Sarah is certainly not the BEST we can do as a representative and certainly NOT a role model - a loud mouthed, empty headed, "pit bull with lipstick" is hardly something I can look UP to.

Had these parents been AROUND for their kids, this wouldn't have happened. It's tough to have sex in front of your parents. Something went wrong with their teachings on values... .
What “went wrong with their teachings on values” is called peer pressure and indoctrination in schools. The most loving parents cannot be around every minute of the day and sooner or later, kids must be left alone, if they are to become functional adults one day able to think and do for themselves.
That they are now being responsible and raising the child, and hopefully soon getting married, speaks tons more than your pious desire to brand a scarlet letter upon their foreheads for all to see. Or would a bright patch sewn on her blouse suffice be more to your liking?
When I deal with someone like you, I swear I feel like I'm conversing with a LIBERAL - right on down to “class warfare”.
Actually, your pompous holier than thou attitude is what gives liberals their power and encourages them to hold everyone on the right to impossible standards, that even you cannot attain. You are not nearly as perfect as you think.

You remind me of the Assembly of God Church I grew up in back in the 1950’s with their abundance of Sister Bertha Better Than You’s always ready to condemn others, while hiding their own sins.
Most unwed mothers do NOT have her financial backing - that is NOT “class warfare”. That is a FACT. The stats for kids having babies is BLEAK.
And, you thinking shamefully hiding them away, branding them and their parents as heretics and scum of the earth will change that?
Hate to tell you, but today, unwed mothers have more advantages than they have ever had, if they work for it. Of course, it is always preferable that teens not get pregnant, but unless you have your offspring sealed away in a lead box, or hopeless neurotics from endless guilt trips, sooner or later they will be out in the world around those others less than perfect offspring of others and as apt to get into trouble as any other kid.
The difference comes down to whether you are willing to stand behind them, continue loving them, or force them into something like an abortion, or bury them waist deep in the dirt while all the neighbors and loving church members gather around to stone them to death.
Perhaps YOU need to reminisce upon the words of a great man, “Judge not lest you be judged” and “ let he who is without sin cast the first stone.”
When you think you are better than those spoken words, you have become worse than a liberal and become like a dog turning back to their own vomit and a washed sow wallowing in the mud.
That might be semi-humorous if Sarah herself did not have a degree in journalism.
One does not cancel the other out. I have two daughters, one who is 30 and pregnant with my 3rd grandchild, and a newly turned 15 year old. I would be severely disappointed if the youngest were to conceive out of wedlock. It would most certainly reflect poorly on my wife and me. Her carrying the child to term would in no way negate the mistake.
I know ...I had forgotten that! I rewrote it but it doesnt have the same sting.
I disagree that all mistakes your children make reflect poorly on you. Its by the grace of God many children of righteous people dont get pregnant or arrested for DWI's.
In fact Im betting if you sat down with your 30 year old and she were honest with you you might find there were many things you would think reflected poorly on you.
I think it would however reflect poorly on you if you couldnt forgive and assist them in anyway you could.
It certainly doeswnt disqualify you from any office in the land.
Liberals better hope Obama’s daughters don’t experience an unplanned pregnancy. Then again, if that were the case, they would think it would be glorious! Or she’d have a secret abortion.
