My FRiend, those of us who lived in NYC at the time recall the hordes of thugs who disappeared like magic from corners as you would walk by throughout the city.

So you don’t agree with the guy on every issue and at times he’s a fathead, but you needed someone like that to go up against the NYC liberal establishment along with standing up to the mob.

It was harder for Rudy to face down the teacher’s union than the mob.

As for President, I’d take him over Obama in a heartbeat ANY day.

Being for Fred before, I have no qualms in saying so. After Jan. 20, you and many others here will see the light too. And rue the day we allowed such a person to take the Oval Office.

Not for his color, but for his politics.

agreed.

As a Yankee fan I took my kids to the stadium under the Dinkins fiasco admin. I promised, NEVER AGAIN.

didnt go for years until the Yanks were once again playoff timbre and Rudy was mayor. WOW. you could walk the streets of the south Bronx again. and the people who sold their wares on the street (mostly illegal I suppose competing with Steinbrenners own souvenir and food business) were pleasant and polite.
