Good point...What language did she take in high school?..She was in a Russian class when she met SR. If she indeed was adopted out of an orphanage in the ME she could have been fluent in another language... French? Spanish? German? Latin? They were about the only classes offered in the 60s, even in the best schools.
We know she was fluent in multiple languages as an adult. Do you remember which ones?
