SHe was just about to or had just entered college....I had to have my shots brought up to date before I was accepted....Which was ironic cause I already had complete two years of course work....
Maybe she waited so late in the pregnancy because she was getting the medical clearance or was waiting on a passport. Remember things were VERY different WAY back then.
Someone would have to file an FOIA request to find out when she originally applied for a passport. We don’t even know that! I do know that my mother almost got caught in a similar situation, where if she had become pregnant with me she would have spent time cooling her heels away from my dad who had been posted overseas. Put it down to good timing that she became pregnant with me after her arrival overseas and after the birth of my older sister!
