In common usage the expression that someone is related “by marriage” connotes that someone is not a blood/genetic relation but is connected by the later fact of someone’s marriage......
Thus, it sounded like you were asserting that CK does not carry any “genes” from prior Kennedys (Joe, Sr. and Rose Kennedy, etc.) but was an Onassis first. In fact, she was a Kennedy first, and only an “Onassis” in a very limited sense by her mother’s later re-marriage (from I understand she NEVER considered Aristotle Onassis her step-father and had a very strained relationship with him).
I really don’t know what you are asserting, but maybe you can explain.

I don’t even want to think about Lady Caroline of Gotham anymore. Blech. Between her and our mayor, King Mike, I’m sick of the nonsense here.
And the Kennedy looks, which fit better on the males than the females.
I just hope he gets an early start and doesn’t face any serious primary challenges, so that we can all focus on sending Lady Caroline home in 2 years. Or at least for some remedial speech lessons.
If she gets the seat, he’ll start running the next day. As for primary challenges, I’d love to say that the rest of the GOP knows that he’s the guy to take that seat, but, sadly, there are one or two losers out there that think that they can get 51 points more than they currently poll.
