"Bassiouny, a former ambassador to Israel, scoffed at Haniyeh's faith in the Arab world's support, saying, "No one cares if all of the Palestinians are destroyed;"

Every ounce in a while the truth seeps out of islamic world.

Operation Cast Lead

I've been away from the T.V. and Radio for a while. Is this pronounced "Leeed" or lead like a fishing weight?

...Yuval Diskin said that many members of the organization's leadership echelon were hiding out in mosques and hospitals, some of them disguised as doctors and male nurses.
Ismail Haniyeh: Male Nurse

Who knew that Hamas leaders moonlighted as gay porn actors?

"Where are the Hamas leaders now, when the residents of Gaza are getting killed? All of Hamas's leadership is in bunkers," Muhammad Bassiouny, the head of the parliament's foreign affairs and defense committee, charged in an interview with an Egyptian television channel.

This follows on the heels of an analysis from yesterday that stated the IDF goal is to show Gazans that Hamas leadership is weak and unable to protect the public in an effort to discredit Hamas in the minds of the public.

Egyptians realize what a pestilence Hamas is and are apparently assisting in the psychological process of discrediting Hamas.

I think it has been clear for some time out here in the real world, that the Palis have had value only as a club with which to beat on Israel, but it may be discouraging new information for the morons themselves.

They will crawl out from under their rocks and start shooting more rockets and missiles when Israel withdraws.

Now a smart population that wanted peace would run them out when they emerge. I guess that’s why I feel little sympathy for the Palestinians. They know how to gain peace all they have to do is stop these people from instigating war, but they just stand by and watch it start all over again.

This is actually quite a change from holding Palestinian women and children in front of them while they attack innocent Israeli women and children.

Stepping up the rhetoric in what has escalated into an all-out verbal war between Hamas and Egypt over the Gaza government's perceived responsibility for the devastating results of Operation Cast Lead, a senior Egyptian parliamentarian on Thursday accused Hamas leaders of abandoning the Palestinians of Gaza to their fate. "Where are the Hamas leaders now, when the residents of Gaza are getting killed? All of Hamas's leadership is in bunkers," Muhammad Bassiouny, the head of the parliament's foreign affairs and defense committee, charged... Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) head Yuval Diskin said that many members of the organization's leadership echelon were hiding out in mosques and hospitals, some of them disguised as doctors and male nurses... Bassiouny, a former ambassador to Israel, scoffed at Haniyeh's faith in the Arab world's support, saying, "No one cares if all of the Palestinians are destroyed; what kind of talk is this?"
What he said.
Bassiouny was also highly critical of Hamas for killing an Egyptian border guard on Sunday. Meanwhile, the Egyptian daily Al-Ahram reported Thursday that Egyptian security forces were in pursuit of a Hamas terror cell that had recently infiltrated Egypt... The paper reported that Egyptian forces had arrested 59 Palestinians in the city of Al Qantarah El Sharqiyya in the northeast of the country.
Al-Ahram op-eds tend to support Hamas.

Bassiouny's comments are a clear signal that Egypt has washed their hands of Hamas.

Israel has a green light. From Egypt. From the U.S. From Europe.

They should use it.
