Correct me if I'm wrong, but according to federal law you can carry
a firearm if you're a licensed fisherman going to, or coming from
where you plan to fish. It's the law I use to trump California's restrictions
on firearms. We also have a gold claim though, so that's a double trump.

Neither a fishing license nor a gold mining claim are a defense against local or state restrictions.
