The New York Times’s November 5 headline said “Racial Barrier Falls.” Maybe there was no racial barrier. Maybe Americans just hadn’t happened to elect a minority yet. But to the Times, of course, it’s all clear: we were all racists.
This ordeal is going to be very interesting and I fear, a long, drawn out process.
