Dead ringer for her mother in that picture. Actually, she resembles her aunt Lee even more.

One thing is for sure. Caroline has no business being a member of the Senate. She comes across as having no real beliefs about anything. She didn’t even bother to vote and her donation record to causes she might believe in is sad. She can’t articulate at all and repeatedly brings up her family record of public service as a qualification to serve. If I ever saw a dumb blond interview hers was it. This gal needs to shack up in her mansion, smoke a joint and practice saying “ya know” and “cool”. She fits right into that crowd of know nothing well connected idiots. Oh, wait a minute, I forgot, it’s the U.S. Senate we’re talking about. I take everything back. She’s qualified.

I doubt she’d make the cut at Walmart. But the Senate...no problem. In fact we might have to have Nancy Pelosi dumb her down a bit.

Maybe, just maybe, we should support Princess Caroline, or at least be mum. Can you imagine how much PR potential this might have if Patterson appoints this heiress as a Senator? The Repubs can point to her as an excellent example of, like, ya know, entitlement. She is not the “change we can believe in.”
Whoever is appointed is going to be a Democrat. Maybe there is some gain in having the Princess there and being incompetent? Ya know?

And the Democrats say that George W. can't speak.
Caroline was quiet and out of the public eye for most of her adult/married life. I wonder why she is now choosing to get into the ring. She must certainly know she is going to be skewered by critics - or perhaps she believes she should be spared out of sympathy. Whatever the case, I believe this is a mistake for her to go into politics. It will not polish her image; it will tarnish it.
