No, she wasn't.

Responding to your post #263 to me. DCPatriot, you have a soft heart to those who are hurting. So do I. But, sometimes there are choices to make in this cruel world.

I sent a link to a FR thread HAMAS Legalizes the Crucifixion of Christians and other Enemies. Here is the language that surrounds that legislation from Hamas Passes Sharia for Gaza.

The text stresses: "These punishments will not be canceled or pardoned ... except if pardoned by the victim himself... Section 59 of the law establishes that "punishment of death will be enacted on any Palestinian who intentionally does one of the following: Raised a weapon against Palestine on behalf of the enemy during war, was appointed to negotiate with a foreign government on a Palestinian issue and negotiated against Palestinians' interest, performed a hostile action against a foreign country in a way that endangers Palestine in war or in harming political relations, served a foreign army in time of war, advised or helped soldiers to enlist in this army, weakened the spirit or the force of resistance of the people, or spied against Palestine especially during war."

IOW, the Palestinians/Hamas are setting up their own people for crucifixions, death, whathaveyou to prevent them from trying to work with Israelis to gain peace. If any Palestinian provides information to the Israelis about rocket launchers in their own neighborhoods or other activities that will continue to cause unrest in this area, they face crucifixion.

If you have any knowledge of WWII history, the lessons learned with Japan and Germany are quite applicable to the current situation between the Palestinians/Hamas and Israel today.

There are people today who mourn the atomic bombs in Japan and all the innocents killed. Really? What were the options? Have you ever listened to WWII veterans who's loved ones thought they were going to be sent to Japan to end the Pacific War? I have. The dread and the numbers they expected killed on the island of Japan were staggering. The Japanese were taught to hate and fear Americans. That's why so many committed suicide on the island cliffs when their war was over. The lives lost with the atomic bomb were staggering, but nothing compared to both Japanese and American military personnel that would have been lost in that conflict. Japan was forced into surrender. The lesson from the atomic bombs was huge, devestating, and ferocious. The US did not stop there. They removed their emperor, their military, their way of life. They are our ally now. Read history about the atrocities of war. I realize everything is about minimizing collateral damage these days. That does not win a war, necessarily.

Convincing the enemy they have no other options sometimes works.
