As the world stood by while the Taliban set up its Theocracy the last time, Bin Laden saw a haven from which he could operate. After killing the strongest opponent the Taliban had, Bin Laden was made a special Minister of Defense by the Taliban.

We had only a day or two to puzzle the meaning of this when four planes were hijacked on plans by his group.

I think that is sufficient proof that the world is too small a place to be disinterested in organized tyrany and evil.

I’m with you on that. Five of my colleagues were on the planes that smashed into WTC 2 (I didn’t know them, we worked for the same organization) and one fellow Kiwi was on Flight 93.

Next time it could happen to me. Or to you. Or to anyone on this Forum. Or to our families.

Evil knows no borders.
