Britain didn’t think so.

Considering that Britain never accorded the confederacy any form of diplomatic recognition it's hard to understand how you came to that conclusion.

Funny, Britain continued trade with the Confederacy even after its shipping was interdicted by Yankee naval elements.

And if Britain believed the confederacy to be a sovereign nation then don't you think they would have protested the seizure of ships belonging to their citizens by the U.S. Navy?

As for Lincoln ordering Chief Justice Taney’s arrest, just Google that; it’s all over the place. Your abject refusal to accept any bad press for your god Abe Lincoln speaks volumes about your stubbornness and ignorance.

That story has been around for years and has been discredited time and again. My objection to your tale is not because it's against Lincoln but to the total lack of evidence to support the claim. There is a single source, not from the person who supposedly makes the claim. There is nothing to support it - no documentation, no witnesses, no arrest, nothing. But you swallow it hook, line, and sinker.

Not-shit, I mean non-sequitur, we will never agree on this topic, and, quite franly, I am growing tired of of your sophomoric attempts to elevate the impossible (i.e., that Lincoln sits at the left hand of God).

But when cornered and asked to support your asinine claims you go for name calling and attempts at insult, in true Southron fashion. I suppose I should respond in kind, something like asking if ought-six is your screen name or your IQ?

Re: The Taney arrest warrant.

Marshal Laman commented on it, and he was the one to whom Lincoln gave the warrant to affect the arrest. But, you routinely and steadfastly reject as out-of-hand any facts that make your messiah not look so good. I feel sorry for you and the sad life you must live.
