Some people are gullible and others just try to see the best in every person and situation.
Some people want to convince themselves that that gave someone a chance before they go against them. Your father falls in this category. However we are not going to waste our time here hoping for a socialist, left wing liberal, and a defeatist to change. We need to start fighting his agenda now.
