Red, I’ll let that roll off in the spirit of Christmas. I suspect you haven’t been on the scene of as many murders, double murders, triple murders or multiple fatality collisions as I have. Or assisted in as many life-saving measures. I could be wrong, of course. But if you hang around rescue and ER workers long enough you’ll understand the dark humor that helps them cope and continue being effective and professional.
Anyway, I’m sure we all agree that it is best that this “Santa” offed himself later on (or so I’ve heard), and wish that he had offed himself sooner rather than later.

Dark humor between professionals at the scene is entirely understandable.
Dark humor employed by people who have absolutely no connection to the incident merely comes across as crass. Very crass.
