It was just reported on the show KFI Los Angeles that George W. Bush has pardoned an individual named John Allen Aregood of Riviera, Texas, who was apparently convicted of conspiracy to harbor and transport illegal aliens.
It’s not about being good looking, TE.
I was just trying to put a human face on them. They’re no different than you or I.
Maybe being self-employed with no safety net for the past 35 years has given me an appreciation for anybody that starts a journey with nothing but the clothes he’s wearing.
That photo is of a mother and son. She started a cleaning business and now employs 8 people. She brought her son here from Venezuela when he was 13. Today he’s 21 and a perfect gentleman.
I don’t hire illegals...unless you mean a couple of flyer boys one Summer that I paid $10 @ hr. No different than the kid next door cutting my grass, IMO.
Companies I contracted with may have employed illegals. It wasn’t my concern. They produced a superior product or service. On time. At a fair price. If the local police and county government went out of their way to make them comfortable, why the heck should I care?
That’s all changed now for the most part. Banks don’t install granite counters, paint or install new carpeting.
It’s strictly as-is. The bank-owned foreclosure IS the real estate market in the Washington region.
My apologies then. My memory of past statements in that regard must be faulty.
Theyre no different than you or I.
I don't know about you but I am not in the U.S. illegally so in that regard I am different. Your friend's story is great but it is one anecdotal story and it is not germane to the issue of upholding the law and maintaining national sovereignty. Neither is the current state of the economy. In all of your examples you are merely citing those things that affect you personally and emotionally. If that mattered when deciding civil law and policy then we'd have to ask the other 300 million citizens for their individual input as well. And then we'd have to make law and policy that suited everyone. Obviously nothing would be approved of.
I think that is exactly what I said when you brought it up. ???
bump
And drug dealers shouldn't be "singled out," since the government isn't busting enough users? Give me a break! Be honest -- do you really want immigration laws enforced?
HaHa, wait until you see who Obama pardons, Bahbye
Forget the WH...contact the RNC..tell them NO MORE MONEY EVER unless Bush pardons those two officers. I’ve had it with him.
