Yes McCain botched the Palin pick. He should have picked her to be the Presidential candidate, and deferred himself to the 2nd spot on the ticket.
I am going to have to disagree with you here, he should have placed her as the Presidential candidate and then got his sorry a** out of the campaign altogether!
