Didn't Iraqi Christian used to be afraid to “flaunt” their religion for fear of prosecution?

I've spent Christmas all over the eastern US, in a few Mexican border towns and an iota of Canada.

Maybe it's good not to celebrate in the same spot forever. Even if home is your favorite you will enjoy other experiences and they might help you appreciate celebrating at home more.

They *used* to be. the times, they are a-changin'. :)

Here's an FR thread about Christmas coming back to Baghdad.

Maybe it's good not to celebrate in the same spot forever. Even if home is your favorite you will enjoy other experiences and they might help you appreciate celebrating at home more.

I grew up military and celebrated Christmas in many places, even outside the US. I'm actually enjoying the experience of spending Christmas with the troops, my deployed friends and the Iraqis.

Morale is high.
