OK, everything is packed except for my laptop. All the bills are paid. The dishes are washed and the trash taken out. The security alarm and cameras are ready to be set. The safe is locked up. I think I'm ready for bed and will head out at daybreak.

Not sure if I will have time to stop by to say hello next week, so I'm wishing everyone at The Canteen and all the troops out there to take care and keep the spirit of Christmas in your heart.

We have designated “snow dumps” around town, empty lots, yards. Some places they try to keep “clean” snow to haul back downtown for the start of dog sled races.
