Saw David Phelps sing it last night. I've thought for awhile he was a pompous a$$, this confirmed it. Oh Holy Night is one of the worlds most beautiful songs. Everytime I hear it, I turn it up, and sick back and feel as much as hear the music. Often times the music brings goose bumps or tears.

Hearing Phelps, I wanted to smash the TV. When he sang it, it wasn't about the song, it was about HIM and his voice. He butchered a BEAUTIFUL song, to show off his vocal talents.

I'd prefer Groban any day.

Also, if you want to hear it as close to an angels voice as possible, listen to Celine Dion sing it.
