I used to believe what you are saying.

But it is worse than either of us realize.

The GOP is not going to change. Not for us. And not for our beloved country.

We cannot fight Obama and the dark future he will bring us while we are fighting our “own” political party. This is the equivalent of fighting a two front war.

Gingrich, Powell, Bush, Schwarzenegger, Pawlenty, Romney, McCain, McConnell, Bonoir, Gregg, Spector, Sununnu, Duncan,
Perry, this is “our” party?

Quite frankly, these clowns are not worth fighting. We have to concentrate on fighting the Dems and their destructive vision for America. That’s the primary fight now.

And that is the fight the GOP is unwilling to engage in.

You may be right, but I'm prepared to keep my powder dry for now. Maybe that's because I'm an old fool, or perhaps because I've been around the neighborhood for a spell and remember what the GOP was like back in the 70s, and it was not a pretty picture. RINO Heaven is now undoubtedly occupied by many of their number; weak-kneed, linguini-spined, never met a principle they couldn't run away from faster than an Illinois governor at an arraignment hearing.

I still think we can do better - again.
