Well, duh. Of course it is going to be full of commies, fascists, and other State Worshipers. What did he expect?
Go to a school of engineering or science. Most of them will judge you by your work, not your politics (except for the “Global Warming” garbage, which is now a religion in certain sciences...)
At a social work school, a man having a mid-life crisis might reasonably expect to be surrounded by hundreds of easy hippie girls. He couldn't reasonably be looking forward to 20 working years left of low pay to justify the cost of the college indoctrination.
