“”The questions I have in cases such as his — why would someone choose to affiliate with a profession that’s so at odds with his beliefs and his value-base? That’s always a question for me,” she said.”

My daughter is a conservative who is going for a degree in social work (required to become a family counselor). She gets the same treatment by the moonbats in charge. She already got the “you’re a conservative therefore a racist lecture” from one of her instructors. Now they have her working an internship with violent sociopathic kids.

That is the job. She will spend a lot of her time with violent sociopathic people, drug addicts, prostitutes, child abusers, and thugs. Normal people don’t need social workers.

As a FF/Paramedic, I work closely with social workers. On the bright side, many of them develop some pretty conservative views, once they are out in the field for a while. Probably the professors sit in their offices, and teach ideology, but real world experience is a better teacher. They become conservative pretty quickly.

Hmmmmmmm, those kids just might come in handy someday. A special effort should be made to get on their good side.
