Unfortunately, probably never. Government theft is also a sin.

Bush is messing up big time on these financial issues, no doubt but you are making a ridiculous comparison. Why do you curse something good that Bush has done? Kerry would have been better than Bush, is that what you are suggesting? Kerry would have done a better job with regards to terrorists?

And IF anyone should start ranting all about "one issue voters" let me remind them that they are alive because of one issue, someone choose to keep them that way, alive.

This is a huge problem around here. People are so morally outraged by abortion they fail to act rationally. A President cannot stop or even make much of a dent in the rate of abortion (even overturning Roe), but he can be very instrumental in reversing and preventing socialism.

There are thousands of socialists and populists around here that are tolerated because they pack a gun, are christians, and are anti-abortion.

No fiscal conservative will ever be allowed anywhere near the White House again. The banks don't care if a political candidate engages in the modern bread and circuses MSM entertainment of taking up hysterical, overwrought stands on social issues one way or the other, but threaten to mess with the financial system and they'll have their minions brand you a lunatic before you ever get near a primary victory. Ron Paul was never a serious threat, but they stuck him with the "Truther" label just to be sure. Sarah Palin might have proven to be a fiscal conservative, so they turned her into a snake-handling Quayle clone. And just because FReepers love her, don't think that caricature hasn't stuck hard with the general public - I still hear lots of people talking about what an "idiot" she was.

Money is more important than 45 million murdered children?

That's a rather odd and seriously sleazy comparison.
