Hitler “an unparalleled military genius.”? Didn’t he go against the advice of his military brass to ill effect throughout the war?

Yeah, I’m not the biggest WWII buff, but I would say Hitler was more a political genius in that he was the glue that held all the other geniuses (military, economic, propaganda) together.

Early on, he made very bold military moves that proved successful, but it seems to me he got cocky and overextended himself instead of holding back and solidifying his gains.

Also, not reeling Japan in proved to be his demise.

Whatever the case, I don’t think the comments about Hitler’s “military genius” are damning for a Jew to say. You can say that someone is good AT WHAT THEY DO, without saying you agree with them. You can hate someone or what they stand for, but be astounded that they were able to pull it off in the first place.
