If so, the only good news is this will provide the evidence needed to convict.

Not only just having the body, but perhaps there are forensics too that can help.

If Caylee’s remains, this location is particularly damning to Casey.

I know her stories were lies, but a slick lawyer and dumbed down jury might result in “reasonable doubt” that the child died at her mother’s hand...whether deliberate or accidental. Casey continues to claim that someone else took the child after she gave her over for babysitting, and the grandparents continue to claim she is alive somewhere.

This location would tie in with only one scenario...that whatever happened it happened in or near the home and that Casey disposed of the body from that location. It had to have happened while Casey was at the home with Caylee and the grandparents were not there that day.

I believe that puts it very early in the potential timeline of events, because such a scenario is known to be plausible.

Exactly so. DNA match plus traces of chloroform or its metabolites puts Caylee in her mom's trunk.
