If you’re interested in a great area of Alabama . . . they’re still building houses and jobs are available . . . try for Baldwin County (on the east side of Mobile Bay). The towns of Spanish Fort, Fairhope, Daphne, Malbis, Montrose, etc. with Spanish Fort having the better schools.

Well, my son in law teaches there, so I have to say that. LOL

Huntsville is another area that is really growing. It has made top 10 or so lists in schools, place to start small businesses, is a top green city, etc. Construction is going on in all areas but especially the west out toward Madison, Decatur and Athens. I have lived here since 1966 and would not want to live anywhere else.
